Standard Operating Procedure for Razer OSVR 2.0 Operation
Installing the Software
- Install Steam:
http://store.steampowered.com/about/ - Run Steam and login to your account or create one.
- Install SteamVR:
- Navigate to the “Tools” section of the library.
- Scroll down to “SteamVR” and double-click it to start the installation process.
- Navigate to the “Tools” section of the library.
- Install the OSVR Software:
- Download the OSVR all-in-one installer:
http://assets.razerzone.com/eeimages/osvr/HDK_Windows_Installer_Beta_0.8.0.0.exe - Run it, and allow it to install everything.
- Download the OSVR SteamVR driver:
https://github.com/OSVR/SteamVR-OSVR
- Extract the file and paste the folder lib\openvr\osvr to your Steam\steamapps\common\SteamVR\drivers folder.
- Run the OSVR Config program to configure your settings, and then run osvr_server.exe or click “Start” in the OSVR tray application.
- Download the OSVR all-in-one installer:
- To use content, start SteamVR, select your game, and put on the headset.

Step-by-step Setup:
Plug the display cable into the breakout box as pictured.
Plug the power cable into the splitter cable as pictured.
Plug the splitter cable into the breakout box as pictured.
Plug the headset into the breakout box as pictured. Optionally, headphones can be plugged into the same side.
Plug the splitter cable and the Micro-USB cable into the IR camera.
- Plug the power cable into a power outlet, and plug the remaining loose USB and HDMI ends into your computer, and your device will be ready for operation.
